I'm seriously considering one of these, but which one!
The 2006 model seems to have all the bells and whistles but is more ££, is it worth it?
From looking at the chart I think for bikini line and legs I would be the perfect candidate (pale with dark hair) but for the ahem facial hair I don't think it would work. I have white tough buggers on my chin. Can't believe I've just written that!
So I suppose what I'm saying is should I spend less on one as it's probably not going to work on the face for me.
Thankyou! Grin

i recently tried the Boots Smoothskin which seemed to give good results on preventing the regrowth but also gave me skin pigmentation issues - also I looked like i have aged 5 years!!

Lots of tiny saggy wrinkles that were never there before. All I say is beware of IPL (whichever brand you go for) as it doens't always help everyone and can do more damage than good. Try once in a small area and wait for a good three weeks before redoing it as not everyone has a positive reaction. I won't be repeating mine again. I tried it for two or three sessions then a break of 5 weeks in case it wasn't responsible for the symptoms, then tried it again and guess what - the pigmentation issues returned and the skin looked terrible again!

I also had severe dizziness after my third application - GP tested me for everything but came back negative so I put it down to the IPL. It went when I stopped IPLing.

Finally take photos of your skin close up and make sure you get a good close up look at your wrinkles before or after, particularly if you are using on your face. Then if it does cause a negative effect you can see and compare.

Just be careful!!

I don't think you need to buy the latest as from reading LOADS of posts on here during my research people were impressed with the results years ago, and they obviously had the older models.

I bought the second cheapest one (don't know the number sorry!) and have used it once on Saturday and am starting to see some results just now so am pleased!

no worries Gracie; even the skin on my legs looked saggy and I had never seen it look like that before! (That or I hadn't looked closely enough!!). Also it seemed to give me really enlarged pores on my face.

Just do it very carefully and wait between applications for a reasonable amount of time after the first go or two so you know if it's going to affect you adversely.
