Hello,
I am looking to go and have this done, But it's a bit of a trek to my nearest boots that does it... Has anyone had it done and how did you find it? Did they get the shade right etc?
Just worried it will be a fuss to get there and then I will be disappointed!

I had it done a while back and found the shade recommended far too dark for my skin. But I am quite pale and find many ranges don't have a shade pale enough.

That's what I was worried about I am quite pale too!.. But have bad acne scares that I want to cover.. Hmmm!

I had it done last week and think they got a v good match. Very pleased.

I think I got matched with one too dark, although to be fair they gave the lightest one they had!

I got a perfect match :) lift and luninAte soft rose , best one I have had

Okay I might try it..the worst that I can do is get a wrong shade lol

If you ask they will put some in pot free of charge , last time I bought some I couldn't remember if cool rose or soft rose ( both very similar ) we agreed on the soft rose so she put a generous amount in a pot and said to try at home and if not happy bring the bottle back to change

Best colour match ever, it was fantastic but the actual foundation wasn't as good as my normal colourstay.

Another happy customer here! Had it done, very quick and easy, really pleased with the colour match and like the foundation too. Would definitely buy again and much cheaper than my Bobbi Brown regular.

They are very good at exchanging if it's wrong for you.

Does anyone know - will they help with lipstick shades?

I've had it done 3 times at 3 different stores, with 3 different results, all of them bad.

I'm cool ivory and it's a great match. It made me realise that I'm not as pale as I always thought I was!

When I've got a bit of a tan in the summer I'm almost the next shade up so I buy one and mix a tiny bit with cool ivory to get the colour right.

As others have said, they'll put some in a little pot if you ask. I couldn't decide between formulations so they gave me 3 different pots - all same colour but diff types. They lasted me about 6 weeks :)

I've had it done for foundation and both times the same colour came up, 'honey', which is perfect for my medium warm skin tone. Looks natural on and blends in really well.

BitOutOfPractice - They do help with lipsticks too, their foundation gadget matches your shade and they give you a card with all the lipsticks that suit your shade. They will also try them on your lips before buying.

The lipsticks looks far too bright for my liking, really garish. They used to do lovely sheer ones, not pearly but just a gloss really with a bit more staying power.
