What do you do with make up you don't use?

Throw it away? Use it up then don't buy it again?

I seem to have loads of (mainly) lipsticks where I don't like the colour and I don't use them. Seems such a waste to throw them away but I suppose not using them is also a waste.

These kind of things end up making me feel bad so I toss them and move on. After that, I limit myself to buying one that I really like and have tried on at a makeup counter. For me, buying lipsticks that I can't try on in store is a false economy.

I mix lipsticks I don't use so I get a colour I like. If I really don't use the lipstick, I bin it.

Same with other products - if they don't work for me at all, I bin them.

I will give products with pumps (where there aren't contamination/hygiene issues) or things like perfume and hand cream to my mum if they aren't working for me. She will either use it or if she hates it too, bin it.
