Emerald green top in natural fabric

I'm looking for something simple but smartish, so not t shirt fabric, in silk, linen or cotton, and ideally with short sleeves. To wear with cream wide leg trousers.

Really like the colour and style of Boden Ravello www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Tops-T-shirts/Short-Sleeved-Tops/WA560/Womens-Ravello-Top.html but it's mainly polyester rather than silk.

Also quite like the Hobbs Kora GREEN-12&refpage=tops and Ondine silk tops www.hobbs.co.uk/product/display?productID=0115-6218-3059L00&productvarid=0115-6218-3059L00-ULTRAMARINE-8&refpage=tops but they're sleeveless and Ondine is the wrong colour!

I have done a lot of Internet and a bit of high street shopping but no luck so If anyone has seen any that look like they might fit the bill I'd be very grateful!

Jigsaw and Jaeger have that kind of thing on-line. Poetry does as well, but I haven't seen any emerald green.
John Lewis on-line is good for having a look for things.

Thanks Looby and Duchess, have tried Jigsaw, J Lewis, Jaeger with no joy. Hadn't come across Poetry before but nothing there either, everything at the moment that's green is pastel, which makes me look like death warmed up. The Phase 8 tops are the right colour but one is sleeveless and the other I think might be a bit casual. (Sorry to be fussy.)

It's a long shot but it's 100% silk:

Probably too floaty for you. It's a tricky colour. Have you tried ASOS? I usually despair of the choice and difficulty with narrowing down properly from all the dross but might be worth a look?

that's lovely top you've linked to Misslemon

I feel your pain op; trying to find clothes that aren't man-made is very hard. Even a small amount of elastane/polyester etc makes me hot and sweaty

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 19/04/2015 20:10

That is a very nice top Misslemon, but I think with wide leg trousers in might be enlarging! at least on me (lovely with jeans though.) it's such a shame man made fibres are everywhere and so overpriced! I think I may order the Kora from Hobbs and see how meaty my arms look - I may just get away with it - and I've also ordered this from White Stuff in the hope it's less t shirty in the flesh www.houseoffraser.co.uk/White+Stuff+Henrietta+T-shirt/217809344,default,pd.html

How about this one GO QUICK, only 2 Smile

PeachandBlack · 19/04/2015 20:28

Dorothy Perkins have had a lot of emerald green tops but I don't know if they are natural fibres.

sleepwhenidie · 19/04/2015 20:29

this is rather lovely, I like the leopard print but looks like you can choose solid green too.

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 19/04/2015 20:44

Sleep, that first one you linked to is absolutely perfect! I've never bought clothes from Etsy, only jewellery and gifts, so would never have looked there. Off to find out shipping costs from Canada. Thank you!

Thanks Peach, nice styles but Dotty P is polyester central at the moment. (Much more sensible prices for polyester than elsewhere though.)

I know, it's a shame. That Etsy one is amazing though.

Its not polyester, its viscose. And not smelly or sticky to wear, I can testify as I have it in blue.
