Looking to find out if this makes any difference to spot prone skin?

At 32 I thought my days of spots and bumpy skin was behind me but it would appear not to be the case! I've read reviews online that silver serum is the way to go but not sure if it's for acne prone skin or skin like mine; The odd persistent spot, blocked pores and scarring from picking spots.

I use eve lom hot cloth cleanser at night (double cleanse) then moisturise.
In the morning I use a foaming wash of cleanser then moisturise and on days in not working and if I'm not leaving the house I go makeup free. I was thinking of introducing the silver serum at night to hopefully get the best results.

Just investigating this as my interfering MIL mentioned it to DS as he has bad acne. I asked him a year ago if he wanted me to make a GP appt and he said no he wasn't bothered by it, so quite why she's jumping in with ideas, I don't know Hmm

Anyway, I'll have a read and see what I find.

I would think about binning the eve lim before getting the serum as its full of mineral oil and probably not helping with spots. Emma hardie or merumaya balms are better x

Foaming cleanser doesn't sound too hot either :( I'd change cleansers before adding in a serum.

My skin loves alpha h liquid gold twice a week at night..

I've had some pretty good results with eve lom but will be changing to a cheaper cleanser as I'm not prepared to spend the money to keep using eve lom. I've used Emma hardie, Liz Earle, and Ellis cleanser and they really erupted my skin.
My skin also doesn't like the alpha h- felt a bit harsh and dried my son out.
I'm going shopping tomorrow so I'll be on the look out for a more natural gentle cleanser

Maybe try cetaphil? Depends if you particularly want a balm...
