Where to buy nice comfy pyjamas

I bought my last set a few years ago in Topshop but all they have at the moment is Disney Princess and Barbie themed ones. I'm in my 30s and really don't want to look as if I'm trying to be cute.

I had a look in M&S today but they were all a bit old ladyish. All I want is a nice cotton top with matching shorts. How difficult is it to find a decent set? Any suggestions welcome and thanks in advance.

Primark

MendipsMary · 18/04/2015 22:31

I have some great ones from Peacocks, as do my daughters. Really comfy and don't seem to shrink in the wash either. I also like Matalan and Asda for PJ's.

The White Company do lovely night wear. Not sure if they do pyjama shorts though and would be quite expensive. I havemy eye on a nightie but at £35, seems extravagant!

I've got two pairs of Primark pyjamas although they are from last winter. They are so comfy and wash well. I bought DD1 (age 13) a pair of their pj bottoms (more like harem pants) for around £3 and she sleeps in them with a vest top. They have a good range of styles so definitely worth a look.

Hush. I have four pairs of their bottoms - absolutely love the yellow star print ones and the lobster print ones. I team them with their raglan tees and they look fab - plus very comfortable

They're not particularly cheap but worth the extra

BiscuitMillionaire · 18/04/2015 22:36

They have lots to choose from at Next.

BumWad · 18/04/2015 22:37

Calvin Klein pyjamas. Well worth the money

ggirl · 18/04/2015 22:39

TK maxx , lots of nice pjs

ouryve · 18/04/2015 22:39

I have some lovely M&S jammies. They usually do some nice mix and match ones.

SofiaAmes · 18/04/2015 22:40

Primark.

Hush

Kittykatmacbill · 18/04/2015 22:41

I have had lots of nice ones from H&M, the Primark ones I have bought have been the wrong shape, a bit indecent in a old fashioned running shorts kinda way. Love my boden long bottoms ones, they might do short ones too?

Queenofknickers · 18/04/2015 22:41

Another vote for Primark

CandyAppleFudge · 18/04/2015 22:48

New look, river island, h & m.

Somebodystolemyname · 18/04/2015 23:08

Primark are great, so cheap and I find they wash really well and are better quality than most supermarket brands. I have just bought a pair of monsoon PJ bottoms for the summer though and they are really nice, great quality and very comfy and look very nice on - definitely recommend them.

Elledouble · 18/04/2015 23:09

I like BHS for pyjamas. They have some lovely silky ones.

CointreauVersial · 18/04/2015 23:20

All mine are Primark or Next. I tend to buy PJ bottoms, and mix-and-match with a cami top or fitted tee-shirt in the summer, or long sleeved top for winter. Primark great for the tops as well!

boogiewoogie · 18/04/2015 23:26

Thanks. I wasn't expecting replies this quickly. I shall have to have a look online again. I will also have a look at CK ones.

Tesco- lovely cotton ones that are soft and not too twee

RJnomore · 18/04/2015 23:44

DH usually buys me nice debenhams ones every Christmas

herethereandeverywhere · 18/04/2015 23:51

I love PJ Salvage but not sure if they sell them in the UK. I always treat myself to at least one pair when I'm in the US.

I look out for CK bottoms in TK Maxx and team with cotton vests from H&M

ShebaQueen · 18/04/2015 23:52

Matalan, I love their pyjamas, comfiest ever.

LaurieFairyCake · 18/04/2015 23:53

The Rosie range at M and S are silk or high quality modal - absolutely amazing for the price

RubyReins · 18/04/2015 23:55

Cyberjammies are great - adore mine.
