I think Yes. Does anyone have one? Do you like it?

Looks naff on the model - so god help me. A big no from me!

WastingMyYoungYears · 17/04/2015 23:37

Oh dear May, maybe I should save my money!

Why is it ideal for rowing? Confused

NeedANewDirection · 17/04/2015 23:41

Get a Buff, much cooler

seaoflove · 17/04/2015 23:43

So it's an oversized, multi-purpose scrunchie?

No, don't do it Grin

Wolfiefan · 17/04/2015 23:43

Ah no. Not one of those. I do have several buffs though!

Haggisfish · 17/04/2015 23:43

Erm is that all you do with it? How does that make it 'handy' exactly?!

VivaLeBeaver · 17/04/2015 23:46

I can't see a picture of them on a model? One review talks about it being a great neck warmer....so is it a buff? I love my buff.

It never does any rowing for me though. Bastard buff makes me do all the hard work!

May09Bump · 17/04/2015 23:46

Yep - save your money!

May09Bump · 17/04/2015 23:47

I looked on the John Lewis website - they have it modeled. I did try the seasalt website -but it's format drove me potty.

Wolfiefan · 17/04/2015 23:50

Beaver. You must get multiple buffs. At least two summer and two winter. T'will solve all your problems!
Grin

VivaLeBeaver · 17/04/2015 23:54

Yes mine is more of a summer buff. Id like a fleece back one.

Though I have to confess ive started wearing it on my head like an Amish person to keep my hair out my face.....only in the house though!

Haggisfish · 17/04/2015 23:56

You need to click on one of them and scroll through pictures. Essentially a material necklace!

WastingMyYoungYears · 18/04/2015 07:24

Oh, thanks all - I was mistaken, I actually need a buff Grin.

Just for the record, I wasn't going to use the handyband as an enormous scrunchie.

I have a number of buffs (and the £2.99 Aldi buff a likes), and they are great for filling in cold spots when running/cycling and under my cycle helmet where I do wear it like a head scarf to keep me warm in the winter, and the sweat out of my eyes/ flies out of my hair in the summer.

Hippychickster · 18/04/2015 07:41

I have one of these. I love it, the pattern, the fabric, the uses it seems to have.

Like you, I saw it and thought I needed it.

However, much as I love the idea of it, I have never once used it! I'm sure I will at some point though. I'm saving it for a special occasion.

WildBillfemale · 18/04/2015 07:59

If these are the headband things they are great for sailing as they keep hair from blowing all over your face.

PrincessPilolevuofTONGA · 18/04/2015 08:04

Gosh yes, I need one. My old balaclava is all worn out and holey

They want me to pay how much for something where I can see the overlocking? Confused

ElizabethHoover · 18/04/2015 08:10

I would find them useful if doing sport.
