has anyone used this hair dye from Lush?
I'm dying to try it but not sure how it works as it comes in a bar? any help or advice appreciated so I know the deal before I buy some :)

It comes with very full instructions, and they also have a bit in their 'Lush Times' newspaper which is free in store on how to use them.

Be warned that if you have brown hair with a red tint, the red bar makes you go very auburn!

Yes, you mix it with water, break the block up a bit and mash it with boiling water to make a hot paste. It is messy, smelly and takes ages to rinse off, but the results are fabulous. I have very dark brown hair and use it to give a hint of red and a lot more depth of colour generally, I've used combinations of all four colours, but never used either the red or black on their own.

i don't know. Maybe go onto the Lush forum and see if there's any advice on there?

There is much better henna out there than Lush. Look at www.hennaforhair.com. I am currently using Just for Redheads strawberry blonde henna which works well for me as I am a natural red head and the grey is showing as highlights.
