Does anyone else get Glossybox? I've been getting it for about 6 months...

Just got my month's box today... gorgeous bright red lipstick, but generally quite grumpy about it!

I recently stopped my subscription after over a year. I found I got very excited about the box arriving but was always a little bit disappointed. One good product in every box and the rest cheap and samey. Lots of So Susan...never actually seen it in a shop!
It was lovely getting a little treat every month though.

Today's box was complete and utter shit.

I've cancelled my subscription and given them terrible feedback on their FB page.

Birchbox is SO much better.

I get My Little Box - gorgeous make up in it, and also a gift. So ideal if you don't just want make up. It's my monthly present to myself

I got my first box today and I was so disappointed. What a load of shit.

It's like any subscription service... you can't guarantee its always going to be good. Usually it's awesome for me... this month is crap. I'm going to stick at it, but I'm very very tempted by My Little Box. Could you give us a feel of what you get?

A French hair mask ( full size tube and smells lovely )

A little magazine

It's nice and beautifully packaged

GlossyBox is absolutely shit. I love high end stuff and they just fill their boxes with samples and shit

I dont like the look of My Little Box. It doesn't really seem to have any distinct identity and looks very twee. I'm a beauty junkie so I want makeup and skincare stuff.

I can heartily recommend the site Latest in Beauty. They do one off boxes which are full of brilliant beauty items and the value for money is incredible.

I used to get Glossybox for about 8 months, I did get some really good products in it and really considered it value for money at first, but when they started including loads of non-luxury samples, like random makeup that was clearly outside of my profile, I gave it up. Still use the boxes themselves around the house - probably the most useful thing of all!
