What shoes to wear for interview next week in a school?

I don't wear shoes Confused

I wear boots and then I wear sandals. All of the 'shoes' I own Im not fabulous at walking in, they're too high even if it's only just over an inch and I'm going to have to get there driving/tube/walking.

So my only option (and I can just walk in them) is something like these but an inch higher but then I have to wear tights and the horror of nude tights is giving me thrush just at the thought of it

It's too late in the year to wear boots isn't it?

I have fabulous boots - green thin suede, small hidden wedge

Well it's still ankle boot weather where I live

LaurieFairyCake · 16/04/2015 17:23

It's going to be Central London and I'm not tall enough for ankle boots Grin

I'm the same as you, i go from boots to sandals, so I struggle in between. Plus I'm short so like to always wear a wedge. I have recently discovered tan heeled brogues. I don't feel silly in them. They're perfect with a blue dress too. E.g.

Is it management or classroom?

Catswiththumbs · 16/04/2015 19:18

I just bought a pair of leather tan loafers from topshop

Look smart with my grey cigarette pants and a shirt (I have an interview too Grin)

I love the DM's! Bloggers but they and your next pair are too high for me.

Cats are too low (sounding like Goldilocks now) Grin

Yawny - support staff (but professional support rather)

We're after the same thing Laurie
And I can't find it either Sad

How about stockings
Is it primary or secondary
If it's primary the suede boots would be fine

BloggersNetwork · 16/04/2015 22:11

Why would suede not be appropriate for secondary winter?

LaurieFairyCake · 16/04/2015 22:27

I think I might be really warm in the suede boots though, what if all the other staff have transitioned to summer wear and I'm there in knee length boots.

It is primary.
