I'm seriously considering buying these but I've never been completely happy with any other shape wear I've bought and at over £100 I'd love to hear you experience of these or any others that work for you.

I have are very large apron tummy that I'm try to squeeze into proportion with the rest of my bodySmile

I think foundation wear is good, but get it from Tk Maxx or Primark.

oohnewshoes · 15/04/2015 22:03

I've never bought from tk max. Primark control vests are great. But I can only wear with some clothes. There pants that go up to your bra were awful on me. They keep rolling down Confused

Like NonDom, I'm all for a bit of support under the sort of dress that shows every bump and lump, but I've been more than happy with Primark support pants, tbh. I can't ever imagine paying £125 for some underwear Shock

Zorion · 16/04/2015 09:19

I find support wear ridiculously uncomfortable, except for spanx. I would never pay that though!

I have a lot of the long line shorts style and pay about £15-30 for them, usually on ebay (new in the box!!) or before that using my staff discount in a lingerie shop.

I wore them for my wedding and they did make me smaller as my dress was too tight without them and just right with them.

Damnautocorrect · 16/04/2015 09:44

I've a spanx shorts that comes up under my bra. It's good but it gives you back fat at the top and rolls down a bit so then you get a visible line where it is - I can spot it a mile off when people are on tv now.
I've given up with control stuff now.

MangosMangosMangos · 16/04/2015 10:24

I bought some of these after DC1 was born, I've worn them after every pregnancy, DC4 is still small and I am using them again.

I have just thrown them in the normal 40' wash (which I'm sure you're not meant to do) and they still stay up. I have tried others but they just roll down, but then my tummy is quite severe compared to the rest of me due to post pregnancy separated tummy muscles.

My Spanx ripped first time wearing them Hmm

I wear all sorts now mostly from next or primark and they do the job just as well

Thisishowyoudisappear · 16/04/2015 10:50

I have a Spanx slip, it was £50 and I think it is brilliant.

HelenF350 · 16/04/2015 11:25

I bought them and I didn't think they were worth the money. Matalan's control underwear is better imho and a lot cheaper! x

daftyburd · 16/04/2015 12:04

Ooh I fancy these ones for a wedding at a swanky venue I've been invited too.

The lack of cup sizing in the one you originally linked too op would concern me.

JemFinch · 16/04/2015 12:26

I have those dafty - brilliant, no bulges anywhere and there's a lot to bulge on meGrin

daftyburd · 16/04/2015 16:20

JemFinch I bought them! DP has paid a fortune for a room in the hotel that's the wedding venue. Then I strip down to my big passion killers. I got them in nude. He hates nude underwear mwahahaha
