Glycolic acid products in pregnancy?

I can't find a definitive answer on whether they are ok to use in pregnancy or not.

Bravura 10% lotion says not suitable in pregnancy or when breastfeeding.

I'm also eyeing up Philip Thomas Roth's 10% toner which doesn't say anything about pregnancy.

Clarins lady said their gentle exfoliating toner would be absolutely fine - but I want to break out the big guns really! And the Clarins one is £26.

If you follow Caroline Hirons she recently did a pregnancy video with Ruth Crilly and this came up, she basically said anything you can buy over the counter is fine as it won't be strong enough to cause any problems and they basically have to put it on the label to cover themselves. I think she said the stronger products from doctors were a different issue.

I think they have to declare it on the box if that helps :-) x

I just bought Bravura glycolic 10% and their ginseng toner. I'm not currently using either as label on both says not suitable when bf. Allie82 do you think Bravura are just more cautious in their labelling than other brands or is their toner really likely to be riskier than, say, Clinique? Feeling a bit negligent now as I've never given a second thought to what beauty products I use when bf.
