Cream to powder foundation recommendations

I used to use the Barbara Daly (Tesco) cream to powder foundation and loved it - good consistency, not too heavy and a good colour for my skin. I haven't found it in Tesco for ages now, so moved to a powder minerals one, but it is too dry and the coverage is either really heavy or too light - I can't seem to apply it so it's just right.

Can anyone recommend something that is quite light, yet with good coverage and is easy to apply. I don't like 'traditional' cream foundations as I'd rather not spend the time applying and blending them on an average work day. Might use them for special occasions though!

I'd recommend Clinique Even Better Compact Foundation. I used this twice and loved it (have now switched to a Clinique liquid foundation for a more dewy look). Just for the record, I have combination skin with slight dry patches, prone to occasional breakouts and this worked for me, coverage, colour etc. It's actually the only foundation on which my mum complimented my skin on! Which means a lot considering she's anti-foundation!

Good luck

The Barbara Daly one is back in Tesco now. It was off the shelves for months while they rebranded but it's been back a few weeks now. I tried others in the meantime and didn't like any as much so was delighted to see it back.
