Can anyone recommend a facial moisturizer which is really cheap, ideally with some sun protection. Money is so tight at the moment, but need to get some.

What's your skin type?

GlitzAndGigglesx · 13/04/2015 10:36

I use this and not had any problems m.tesco.com/h5/groceries/r/www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=257087635

Nabootique - my skin isn't dry, but something for a normal to dry skin tends to suit it better.

GlitzAndGigglesx - thanks. I suspect our Tescos don't sell it as I'm sure I'd have noticed it, but will certainly look 100ml for £1 is brilliant. If not, might be one for the future if I'm near a bigger Tescos.

Dirty Works 8 in 1 cream is brilliant. I think it's about £8 in Sainsbury's, but I get it when it's on offer, which is often, and it's a £5. I haven't used the Tesco moisturiser that Glitz recommended, but I did used to use the face wash from that range (pre hot cloth cleansing) and it was actually really lovely! Much better than Garnier/Loreal and various other brands that were about £6 a bottle.

Lidl do a choice of moisturizers with sun protection, got my last one for £1.99. Also, if you look around Nivea do some in a tube (which smells nice) and is often on offer at £1.99 (usually £4 odd).

Superdrug vitamin e stuff.
I have been trying to source cheaper products and really rate this. It's frequently on offer as well.
As an aside, their spf 30, 5 star 'facial sunscreen' is on offer at the mo - I've been using this plus serum for the past few days and am v pleased with it. Foundation goes easily over the top (which can't be said for all facial sunscreens!)

I bought Nivea Q10 with spf. It was £10 but it's a decent sized tub.

DevaDiva · 15/04/2015 21:05

I've used the Tesco one, had to seriously economise when made redundant but still buy it sometimes now even though I can afford my usual brand.

Aldi's Lacura moisturisers are amazing - very similar to Loreal but only around £3 each for the day and night creams!

SakuraSakura · 15/04/2015 21:12

I use Aldi lacura, find them good.

Lilacflower · 16/04/2015 14:13

Nivea Soft or Superdrug Vitamin E

Used Aldi Lacura for 1 week and got spots Shock I never get spots

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 16/04/2015 21:12

I tried an Aldi cream (red cylinder bottle pump ) but it made my eyes really sting when I sweat perspire in a hormonal fashion.

So, I use it from the jaw to decollate.

Aldi face oil are on their Specials page this week (£3.99)

Simple moisturiser with spf30 - I really like it

avagosling · 17/04/2015 10:17

Try coconut oil? Natural, nourishing, and has SPF (only 2, but still something)
