Hello. my husband wears Uniqlo straight jeans and a size too small (he has the opposite of body dysmorphia!) and I do tease him that he has more bumcrack showing than the men in Screwfix. It is, however a sensitive subject. He swears he's a 32 but his isn't. Anyway.

I'd like to find some jeans (maybe wranglers or levis or gap?) that have more seat on them, as it were slim fit but not skinny

Oh, and while I'm at it are there any nice plain casual shoes like tennis shoes with white sole around about?

Not sure I understand.... How does he do them up if they are too small? Do you mean to big so they hang down??

Wrangler GrinGrin lol ..... Not if he likes fashion!

You can pick up some nice jeans in many of the high street outlets from primark to next to topman ect and then there's the higher end brands too.

Jean style is quite a personal thing, I only wear skinny or slim fit, at a push straight fit if I really like them.
So my advice would be to get some nice jeans in the style he likes and the right size!

Oh forgot the foot wear...

Again quite a personal thing, is he a converse or vans type of guy? Don't tell anyone but I like both Wink

For a casual look you can't go wrong with converse all stars.... Vans give a more skater look but again can give a nice casual look.
You could go for a nice retro New Balance trainer which seem to be popular these days.
