Impossible sandal search

Please can anyone help me find some sandals? I like these but I know from bitter experience that they will rub my arches on the top of my feet (I have ridiculously high arches). I also like these except I'm not keen on the little heel.
I also looked at these but I'm not sure if they're a bit "Gladiator"?

Budget is about £50 ish, and I'm a size 3 which sizes me right out of Saltwater. Need to be moderately low/flat heels, as we walk everywhere (no car). They need a strap at the back as well (lots of walking, plus tendancy to pronate means I tend to lose slip-ons).

Any suggestions? TIA.

You could get big kid saltwater sandals. It's the same style as the women's and comes in your size

MrsNuckyThompson · 12/04/2015 21:13

Just posted this on another thread but my mum is a narrow 3.5 and the saltwater size 4 is perfect on her. Might be worth ordering, trying and if necessary sending back.

hettie · 12/04/2015 21:31

How about these from next?

TelephoneIgnoringMachine · 14/04/2015 20:08

Thanks for the suggestions. I was looking for something without a toe post, though. I do like the Saltwater ones, thanks for that tip, MrsNuckyThompson, I hadn't spotted that!

Are these stylish or not?

Am really struggling as nothing seems to fit properly, or rubs. Gah. Doesn't help that I live in the sticks with no good shoe shops for 30 miles...

What about these? They have really good reviews and look comfy.

Cocolepew · 14/04/2015 20:18

What about Birkinstocks?
I like those ones FairyCaravan.

tethersend · 15/04/2015 09:08

Yokono Mallorca are brilliant, so comfy.

Knittingbat · 15/04/2015 10:22

I like those Steve maddens telephone!

hellsbellsmelons · 15/04/2015 11:50

I prefer the Steve Maddens to any of the others you have linked to.
I agree with you about toe posts.
I can't stand them.
I have sandals to similar to the picture and they are really comfy.

hellsbellsmelons · 15/04/2015 11:51

OK with picture!

And mine don't have the toe thing.

TelephoneIgnoringMachine · 15/04/2015 22:35

TheFairyCaravan I'll have a look in Clarks & see if they have them for closer inspection, I totally missed them before.

I think the Steve Madden are my favourite too. I'm not travelling three counties to try them on though... nor do I want to order three sizes to get one that fits. It's crap having tiny feet! Grin

Your feet sound like mine. Red or Dead are pretty comfortable. These any good?

JenniMoo · 16/04/2015 04:49

I wore these for the first time yesterday and they were extremely comfortable, I could have worn them all day. My feet pronate and these felt fairly supportive.

JenniMoo I really like those ginger ale sandals, unfortunately they start at a 4.5 according to the sizing on the website. I dont suppose they run incredibly small? As I'm a 3 (actually a 2.5 on one foot - I know I'm tiny!)

SwedishEdith - I like those a lot.

Wow I might have choice of sandals this summer! Thanks everyone! Grin

I have small feet too.
I have 3 pairs of Steve Madden shoes/boots.
I am a size 3 and they are a size 3 and fit perfectly.
I got all my Steve Madden footwear from House of Fraser.
Do you have one of those close by?
HOF definitely have them HERE
Hope that helps?

JenniMoo · 16/04/2015 21:35

I'm afraid they seem to run quite big, sorry.

TelephoneIgnoringMachine · 21/04/2015 21:56

I got the Steve Maddens, they are lush... and these for work. I need them! And now I have to paint my toenails as well as my fingers...
