I just wants some t-shirts...

Or 'tops'. I'm used to buy tops from Gap, but have found that the fit and quality seems to have deteriorated. Things are just shapeless or polyesterey. I'm looking for nice, colourful (maybe with with a print?) t-shirts or vests. Ones that don't look cheap and will wash well and can be worn with skinnies or denim shorts. I'm a 10/12 and don't like things to be too fitted in the summer, but don't want shapeless boxy styles. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Landsend ones are nice - just be careful of the fit you choose (I thought I chose fitted last time out, but got "relaxed" which were much more loose and slouchy, and not what I wanted). But they've lasted very well (I bought my first in the USA 4 years ago and still wearing the black - white ones got yellowed underarms from use and were retired last summer).

M&S ones can be nice but I don't like the current season ones. Although I haven't found the modal ones, must look harder.

H&M have surprisingly good ones!! I look longingly at American Apparel, but they seem to stop at size 14.

Tesco had a 'perfect t' range that sometimes has prints, had one with ships on a few years now and still looks new, great fit too. Surprising!

Massimo Dutti and White Company. I bought linen ones, in fact, been buying from them for years. Every 2-3 years, sometimes longer. They wash beautifully and keep their shape. Not cheap, but again, I have maybe 6-7 that get worn all the time.

Kiaora, what's the sizing like for Massimo Dutti? I've seen some lovely stuff on the website, but I'm scared to order as it says that the teeny tiny models are wearing a 12!

Primrose, I'm a 12 and 5'7 and I wear medium from them. They are cut beautifully, they're long enough and not silly priced imo.
