Wedding outfit help

I have a wedding to attend in a couple of weeks (close family member).
The outfit I was going to wear is very cleavage-y, I could wear it but my puppies would be very exposed and I don't think I would feel comfortable in it at a family wedding! Grin
Opinions please on my alternatives.

I have this dress

I have black shoes and bag, but wondering if it's a bit wintery for an April wedding? Also would you wear tights with it or just tan?

My other alternative is a cream linen trouser suit. Nice fitted jacket, wide leg trousers, you know the type.

I'd wear it with strappy sandals maybe? I have a similar pair to these and bag and jewellery to match and could buy a pale pink/ gold/ silvery top perhaps.

I do like the dress but agree it is quite dark for a spring wedding. Definite NO on the trouser suit though but I think only the Bride (and possiblt the MOB) should wear white/cream/ivory to a weddibg.
