Anyone had a perm recently?!

So I'm thinking of embracing my curly/wavy hair, instead of battling with my ghds. Would like it to be nice and shaped and defined though instead of the frizz or dries into. Would a perm help with this? Am thinking loose curls, not a poodle perm like my mum had in the 80s something that would need minimum styling, just sort of wash, add product and go? Or am I being delusional and lazy?Smile

I think you'd be better off watching a few youtube videos on how to enhance your natural curl rather than entering the murky world of perms.

Perms always look crap, even the new fancy digital perms.

Honeydragon did a while back and looked lovely. She had a thread and posted photos.
I am tempted by a summer waves loose curl one rather than a full on whitesnake poodle perm, 80s spiral perm or demi wave but then I think: What if one of the kids bring head lice back?! And I have to try and comb and condition permed hair rather than just scrunched and go!Wink
If you do go for it pleeeaaasssseeee post pics or similar style photos.
