Can anyone help me find a rectangular shape backpack/rucksack, kind of similar to a kanken one here but less overpriced or cath kidston shape here but less twee?

Thanks lardy, the shapes are good but I'm not sold on the prints.

be aware that none have hip belts and so should not be used for anything heavier than lipstick and hanky. The bags themselves look quite heavy too with lots of unnecessary straps and clutter.

fashion items, not functional.

Thank you special, I appreciate your point but I'm not bothered by lack of hip belt.

The small kanken is a great sized bag. You can't overfill it because it's small. Colours are great too. The kanken website usually has a 15 or 20% discount so worth a look.

I love the kanken one, it is expensive though. Grr. Sorry op, no help at all Grin

I love the kanken bags but are above my budget. Sorry- that's not actually very helpful is it?!

specialsubject · 11/04/2015 10:54

fair enough but don't put anything heavy in it, your back won't thank you.

Mouthfulofquiz · 12/04/2015 09:48

I agree - my small kanken is just for keys, wallet, phone and a couple of nappies for popping out and about. Does look nice though!
