It's down do skimming the top of my cheekbones & is driving me crazy! any ideas on how to style it? It looks ridiculous clipped out of the way as I have quite a masculine face shape. Or do I just admit defeat and cut a fringe back in?

I'm right there with you, sister Grin am determined to persevere.

I've found a sideswept Farrah Fawcett flick works well.

Quiffs are cool. I resort to a spot of subtle quiffage

Ooh Tether will try that this afternoon, if flares are making a comeback why not Farrah hair. It was fine when it was shorter now it's inbetweeny it just looks a mess. I've tried 4 times now and always cut it but this time I will succeed only to find it doesn't suit me grrr

Honey I tried the quiff and was 50/50 with it but it's still better than it is at the moment so will try that again for work days.

I know you are growing it but if you thin it out a bit and make it more of a sweeping fringe as it grows it will be much easier to deal with x

Arrgh, me too. I'm doing the side swept thing at the moment. Determined not to cave and have it cut back in, I want to be fringe free this summer!

daimbardiva · 11/04/2015 17:06

Another one in the same boat. My growing out fringe does that side swept thing naturally but I'm not sure I can carry it off!!

I miss my fringe but the reason I'm growing it out is that I'm trying to embrace my natural wave and I'm still drying/straightening my fringe which seems to defeat the object..

I can't yet let the fringe-as-was go wavy as it just goes nuts so always looking for encouragement/coping strategies!!!!
