PerfectI stripey top?

I have just had to throw away literally the perfect top.

3/4 length sleeves, scoop neck, Thick material, white with nice thin stripes fitted but not tight. It was from GAP a few years ago.

I am so mournful for
It and desperate for another but can't seem to find anything anywhere. Anyone seen one?

With a username like mine I can never pass a thread about stripy tops. Wink

Joules Harbour tops are exactly as you describe.

SundayThymes · 09/04/2015 22:10

Thank you! But not scoop!

The material's not very thick though.

Chillycamper · 09/04/2015 22:15

Boden scoops

Fit the brief except for long sleeves

StandoutMop · 09/04/2015 22:19

I had similar one from GAP but with a boat neck. I loved that top and if anyone has seen a slash / boat neck version anywhere, would love to know. Ta.

I am a huge stripy top fan - Cos have some good ones just now which sound about right (the site's pants on iPad so I can't link). I also have a few from Urban Outfitters which don't exactly fit your brief but are really nice and a bit different to the usual offerings.

BringMeTea · 10/04/2015 00:28

Boden scoop necks are very clingy/stretchy. Much more than they used to be. Bit annoying.

Backtotherealworld · 10/04/2015 06:20

I too am a collector of stripy tops. My latest addition is this Tesco beauty! The material is on the thin side though.

SundayThymes · 10/04/2015 06:23

It's so tricky as I am wearing boyfriend jeans at the moment and I just look so blocky and unfeminine unless I wear a really specific fit. So anything COSish and like trended fitting IYSWIM wouldn't work. I've basically shot myself in the foot because that top was really the only one that worked with these jeans.

This maybe fits the bill but I'm not sure I can justify £30 on a t shirt!

Ooh that tesco one might be just the ticket (although no scoop). What's the fit like? backtotherealworld

I got ones just like you describe from Banana Republic last year

BikeRunSki · 10/04/2015 06:39

Crew Clothing

Crew again

Backtotherealworld · 10/04/2015 06:43

Sunday yes, sorry the neckline is more boat than scoop. It's quite fitted but you could always size up for a looser fit.

BikeRunSki · 10/04/2015 06:44

La Redoute

I recently got the first Crew one I linked above in TKMaxx.

SundayThymes · 10/04/2015 06:47

No no definitely don't want looser fit. Look completely like a boy when things aren't fitted (small of nork)

LA redoute again

ClearlyMoo · 10/04/2015 07:06

I bought this this week, along with a plain black one (they are but one get one half price after all).

m and co stripey top

I wouldn't usually shop in m and co but have actually been surprised how nice this top is. It's probably slightly lighter weight fabric than your previous gap one, but still ok quality and I love the neckline shape.

Standout the Joules one should definitely fulfill your requirements.

ElizabethHoover · 10/04/2015 09:29

Uniqlo or (shudder) joules

ElizabethHoover · 10/04/2015 09:30

Ah they're loose. Tight- h&m or anywhere

readyforno2 · 10/04/2015 10:31

I love the m&co one. Good price too!

missmartha · 10/04/2015 12:53

I am wearing the Tesco top as I type and have bought another because I like it so much.
