can Neon verge on the trashy?

Now we arent talking the bloggers cliche 'pop of wanking colour', I am talking FULL NEON, partic in summer?

Not keen myself. Whilest I am a great lover of colour I find neon rarely looks elegant.

If you have the right colouring it can look amazing. I'm fluorescent white and it's something I wouldn't even think about.

My sister does Neon pinks or yellows in a subtle way. I have no idea how. She always looks lovely though.

I like neon nail varnish but wouldn't wear it for clothing.

Coral sometimes, if I'm lucky and the shade is absolutely perfect. Generally though, I look ill.

I LOVE it!!

I tan quite easily though and think it looks best with tanned or black skin.

I have a number of fluro coral, yellow and orange dresses which look fab in summer.

I appreciate it's not for everyone but I love it!

To use another terrible fashun phrase, as an "accent" colour I think it can work in the summer e.g. a bag worn with a neutral colour, or a stripe in a number of colours. I've also just bought a neon greeny yellow bikini from M&S of all places which I totally expected to be gopping but is actually really nice, and am hoping even nicer with a tan.

I am rather partial to bright but not neon pink; ditto yellow - but only in the shape of full, midi skirts.

I don't mind a 'pop' but full on neon makes me think of Tina Carter from Eastenders!
