I have nothing to wear in the nice weather we are having. I'm ok for work , have some shoes , trousers and shirts, jackets and cardis. But for just shopping on Saturdays or going to meetings in eve I'm desperate not I can't wear my boots and jeggings and long wooly cardis.

I am a size 14 to 16, round face and have big arms and big legs and calves. I'm in proportion which is a plus and I am near 50. I find it hard to get the slim leg trousers to fit my legs. Leggings ok in winter as I wear boots but look hideous with sandals. I'm more a classic dresser than a trendy dresser. Trying to focus on sprucing myself up a bit at the moment. Am hitting the high street at the weekend if anyone has any inspiration.

I'm similar, I'm ok for winter clothing and even summer clothes for work (mostly, I didn't look good today), but casual summer is a nightmare.

What about cotton chinos/light weight jeans or straight leg trousers in a couple of colours you like/suit you? Or loose-fitting linen trousers?

Then some t-shirts in complementary colours - I'm a fan of v-necks or scoop necks or tunics.

Are you happy that you know which colours suit you?

Yeah I'm ok with colors , I can get away with most colors. Linen I just find lose their shape so easily. I'll try Marks and Sparks on sat.
