Just that, really. I have a really nice wax jacket but I just can't stand the smell of it!! Any tips??

Hi, apparantly soaking in really cold water for a while, and then letting it dry in the sun on a hot day really helps.

How strange - mine doesn't stink at all but it is only about 18 months old, so perhaps I haven't stunk it up sufficiently yet?!

I find they smell more in the beginning or just after they've been treated (I treat mine a couple of times a year). It does seem to fade after a few days.

I'd put it outside to air for a bit if it's really bad.
