Chanel Perfection Lumiere

Do any of you use this foundation? I started recently as I wanted to replace EE DW. Chanel's one is so powdery it is really difficult to spread and also, although I don't have particularly large pores, the foundation enters every single tiny pore and sits there. It dries so quickly it's almost impossible to spread it further. I'm sure I must be doing something wrong. Any ideas?

Are you moisturising first and using a brush to apply makes all the difference. I use embryolisse as I have dry skin and then a buffing brush for my double wear just won't buy it again, too much work.

I guess it's possible my skin's just too dry but my forehead tends to look shiny.

You should take it back to the counter, you were badly advised if it doesn't suit your skin and it's a lot of money for a product you don't like!

I use a brush and think it looks ok. It is a very very light foundation though and I tend to layer it up and use with the chanel loose powder on top.

Have you tried Aqua Lumiere and Les Beiges? Less powdery and more even, natural finish.
