Zara jeans - sizing question

thatsmadted · 09/04/2015 08:06

I am a Size 36 in Zara jeans. I usually shop in-store but my local branch is not stocking the jeans I now want so I'm buying through their website for the first time.

Bizarrely, the sizes are shown in UK dress sizes on the website i.e. 8, 10 etc and there's no conversion guide.

So, is a Size 36 an 8 or a 10?

I'm pretty sure a 36 is a size 10.

Ah, I was hoping an 8 Sad. But thanks anyway.

I think a 36 is an 8. My Zara jeans say 42, US 10 which I'm pretty sure is a 14.

I think it's an 8. I'm a ten and would get a 38.

8

There an 8, but they seem to have changed the material as I bought two pairs yesterday and they seem to have stretched loads in just the drive to nursery!

Mine were a 34 and that's a size 6

Sassy, I could be totally wrong but I think Zara jeans are made from cotton so they give quite a bit.

I really love Zara for jeans and they are a great fit on me but am a bit Hmm about this season's range. It seems about 90% of the jeans are very distressed to the extent of large gaping holes. I don't object to distressed denim and it has its place but they've just come completely wild with it this year. It's all very well for those Spanish people with their lovely tanned knees. Who wants to see my knobbly, white, hairy knees poking out of my jeans? Grin
