Non underwired slightly padded bra

Any ideas, I like plain t shirt bras but find that they make my bust look much bigger than it is which I don't particularly like.

I can't do underwired, at all, one of my breasts hurts with wire, old scar tissue from having a dodgy mole removed in my 20s.

So, I am looking for a very slightly padded non underwired bra.

I got some in m and s last year to see me through early pregnancy. Very comfortable.

eurochick - have had a look at M & S, a lot of theirs seem to be labelled post surgery. Have no problem with that mind you if the padding is not huge.

I presume that it wasn't one of those you liked. Am going to try ordering online because I hate shopping! Did the M & S ones you bought 'have a life of their own', by that I mean have enough padding to look like a bra with breasts in it without the breasts?

That is what I am trying to avoid!

Freya Deco has a non-wired option

Well, I was talking to someone today who suggested ditching the slightly padded wish and opening up my options.

I have just ordered two Triumph 'Doreens' - they do look a bit Barbara Windsor in Carry on Camping - but get great reviews.

If they don't work I am in a city on Saturday so will have a look around.

Well, I have just collected my 'Doreens' from Waitrose. The black one in lace is lovely, comfortable, perfect fit. The white one in a cotton mix is too big in the cup and looks far too matronly!

So, lace Doreens it is. I think I like them enough, I will buy a lace one in white and what them for a few weeks to see how I get on.

Unlike anything I have ever worn before, but better than braless which is what I have been doing lately, just wearing a vest top under everything.

Depending on the size of your bust, these are so pretty and cheap

I understand bra interventionists will be hating them as an offering!!

36 C on my "new" measurements. I am currently searching online for non wired non padded bras, I have never worn non padded but have decided that it is the way to go for now.

Have just discovered that the Doreen I like is called delicate - also found Triumph non wired Amourette which looks more like something I would prefer to wear, but, comfort/fit comes first so I will see how that one fares.
