My eyes are a smudgy mess, please help!

Just that really....

No problems with mascara its my eyeliner. However I apply it within half an hour or so its smudged well past my waterline! I use a soft kohl pencil at present. Any suggestions? Help me get it right

I have switched to urban decay 24/7 eyeliners. I ALAWYS had panda eyes, now they are a thing of the past!

Will look into it. Normally i wear jet black any recommondations?

UD24/7 smears terribly in hot and humid weather or if you exercise - at least the anthracite gray one - haven't tried the jet black one. I usually don't have problems with eye pencils smearing but this is all over my face all the time - won't repurchase! I have deep-set eyes and found that also smiling and talking a lot (long Skype calls!) causes the gel eyeliner to shift to the undereye area and to the crinkles in the corners of my eyes. Yuk!

I have a feeling that the softer, glossier the pencil, the easier it shifts. My rock hard scratchy Chanel waterproof stylos are a pain to apply but they stay put in hell and high water
