Hair help!

I am totally bored with my hair but not sure what I want done to it. It's currently past shoulder length, layered, blonde with some darker lowlights. The condition is really not great. Natural colour is some kind of dark blonde.

I have a roundish face, very pale skin (Scottish!). I am bored with the colour, the cut, but especially the condition. I don't suit anything chin length or too straight.

Any suggestions?? I'm stuck!

I would say find a hairdresser that people trust and book a consultation. He/she will be able to advise on the condition of your hair and what styles will suit your hair type and what styles and cuts will best suit the shape of your face. They should also be able to advise on hair colour to suit your skin colour. As it's a consultation only you won't be expected to have it done there and then -so you can think about it. If your hair is not in good condition they may recommend having more cut off that you really want - but if you don't remove damaged hair no style will work well.

You could try finding the local hair/beauty college, they will have a salon for the public, treatments are cheap and the students are guided by the lecturers so it's quite safe.
