Why do we all look better at night?

Is it all to do with lighting? Or is it something to do with being the end of the day?

Do we though? I look ok in the morning if I've had enough sleep (almost never!) I mean yes obviously I look decent of an evening if I've done my hair/make up and I'm going out, but a normal evening, I just look tired and frazzled

agree soft evening lighter can be kinder than daylight sometimes, candle light even better!

I think the time of month can affect how we look too, personally I swear I look better in the mirror about halfway through my monthly cycle! Or is it just that everything I see looks prettier, so my reflection does too

Yes you can't beat candle light or sunset is REALLY flattering also.

I usually go to bed at about 9pm, so every night out I have I just look tired on.

I think that i look better in the middle of my cycle too. But then I think I look better at the coast too
