Plainish long black tops to go with patterned trousers

I have purchased some patterned trousers which are a bit different for me- I like them but need to find some longer length tops as I feel very conscious of my patterned bottom. Ideally I would like some sleeves and a v/lower neck. Any ideas?

You could try a long-line H&M vest (only £4) layered under a normal top.
