Lily lolo question

Hi, does anyone use lily lolo? I bought one of their starter sets and can't decide if I like it enough to buy full size. I am 47 and my skin is dry ish, I also have a small patch of psoriasis on my cheek. No age spots, clear complexion. I was looking for a natural look with a bit of glow. I am applying the mineral foundation with a kabuki, buffing well. I am just not sure about the coverage, it seems like there is hardly any at all, but if I apply more it just looks powdery especially around my nose. It also doesn't seem to last long. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need a primer as well? or do I go back to a liquid again? I am wondering if it suits young skin better. Thanks!

I don't find the coverage very good with Lily Lolo but I wasn't sure if it was just me! It's more like a finishing/setting powder on me.

mineral powder foundations I've used before have had much better coverage and a very different texture.

I'm 31 age wise

Not great coverage, I use the LL concealer if I need coverage.
I also wear some moisturizer, serum or SPF underneath.
LL might not be the best for glow as its bismuth free and low on mica and I think those are the glowy ingredients.
Try using a bit less product and more layers, and try spraying a fine mist of water (I use Avene). This gives me a velvety finish.

I'm actually thinking of switching to a BB cream for summer - SPF plus LL is a faff and tends to look a bit dry and chalky on me too. I'm 42. Would a BB or CC cream or a tinted moisturizer work better for you?

I used it for about 4 years but then I think my skin changed and it started to look flat and generally not great.

Whatever you do, don't get their bb cream. It's total crap, either under the powder or on its own.

Thanks for the warning Yellow! I actually have a sample of their BB cream but haven't tried it as I have automatically assumed it will be oily and orange Wink I'm quite pale so it will be Dr Jart for me - unless someone has other suggestions?

Hi thanks for replies sounds like its not just me then. M and S had some nice looking mineral based mousse foundation, might give that a whirl
