Wide leg trousers

This weekend I have realised that I have very few pairs of casual trousers (apart from jeans, which I was too hot in yesterday).

I'm looking for some full length wide leg trousers - ideally in a colour other than black, so navy, brown, khaki etc.

I saw some beige ones in sainsburys earlier but the colour did nothing for me and you could clearly see my pants through the fabric

Any ideas/recommendations?

there was someone in at work today, black wide legged trousers, small floral print, black vest top and a fitted cardi in a colour to echo the flowers

she looked vair swish and summery, I felt like a lumpy school marm in my navy uniform.

I would like to look swish and summery - I look like a bag lady at present!

I'm also size 18-20 with a huge stomach, so some of the cheaper shops are no good for me...

I got some linen ones this week from Next, but my height does not suit. They are good quality- can't see your knickers!
I think you need to be tall to get that swishy look. That is what I was after but do better in slight bootcut trousers with heels......sadly hideously out of fashion. Gap used to do some called 'The Perfect Trouser' but they don't make them any more...gutted.

I'm looking for the same . I've just bought a pair of black ones from Peacocks, but not sure what size they go up to, I'm a size 16. If I wear black knickers you can't see them, not sure about other colours though.

I just don't know what tops to wear with them now ..
