It's quite the minefield out there! I've used a lot of the high end ones. Ysl, Chanel, mac etc. I'm currently torn between Estée Lauder sumptuous bold volume lifting mascara(wondering if my lashes will end up as long as the name Hmm ) and Lancôme hypnose... I'm about to run out of benefit They're Real. Wasn't wowed by it.
What say you? I don't mind paying a bit more for mascara if it's a good one...

Sorry I cannot advise on the two you have mentioned but I use the 3D Fiber one from Younique and in all honesty I won't be switching to another. I have a friend who recently bought some on my recommendation as she has the shortest lashes in existence and it made her a very happy woman ;)

Best thing is they have a 14 day love it promise, so if you try it and don't love it then send it back for a refund.

Hope you mind one you love xx

I like baby doll. Gold one. ?ysl

Fcukfifa · 06/04/2015 09:17

I also like the gold ysl one, high end mascaras seem to dry out really quickly to me though, compared to normal ones.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 06/04/2015 09:20

if you are willing to try one that is not high end, try Big & Daring from Avon. Totally fab.

ElizabethHoover · 06/04/2015 09:21

You could brand either sex toys or mascaras with the same names.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 06/04/2015 09:25

Grin. Avon have a new one called Winged Out. Not sure I'd want to try a sex toy with that name Smile

Benefit Roller Lash is genuinely really good at lifting and curling the lashes..

BUT my fave is Guerlain Maxi Lash. £££ but it's just gorgeous - really lovely formula, doesn't get all over everything, doesn't clump, is natural but effective. I love it! I have it in black and brown.

ElizabethHoover · 06/04/2015 09:46

WHAT? Younique?

Pippin8 · 06/04/2015 09:48

That younique one is awful, £24 for it to flake off all over your face! Two of my friends have tried to sell theirs as it's so thick & claggy.

My vote goes for benefit roller lash or Lancôme doll eyes. Both lift, curl & lengthen without being claggy.

BiggerYellowTaxi · 06/04/2015 09:58

I really like the Benefit Roller Lash but hated their They're Real one.

Lancome hypnose is really nice, I think the original version is the best. If you wanted a drugstore mascara then the loreal miss manga is really nice too. I always buy waterproof personally as I think it holds a curl better :-)

ElizabethHoover · 06/04/2015 13:41

you're right, tbh i have feck all to do today

Pippin8 · 06/04/2015 14:17

Unfortunately, they couldn't sell or return as the girl was selling off all her stock & wouldn't accept returns.

Charityworker34 · 06/04/2015 19:40

I love DHC Perfect Pro mascara-it's a tubing one but gives me great long-lasting results. Not a silly price, around £15

JiltedJohnsJulie · 06/04/2015 21:42

Elizabeth still smiling at the names for mascaras being interchangeable with the names of sex toys when "perfect pro" turned up Grin
