What is it for?the first link didn't work.

burnishedsilver · 04/04/2015 22:58

It depends on your colouring. Some people look naked in that colour.

thenightsky · 04/04/2015 22:59

First link shows nothing. Other two are nice enough, but it depends on the occasion obviously.

Whiteandbrownrabbit · 04/04/2015 23:05

first

try again, no purpose as such in mind
maybe a vvv smart place on holiday
or a party....
more likely holiday

I look naked in that colour Burnished so IKWYM. They're nice but I don't know. I think they'd need an event before I could decide if I properly liked them.
Do YOU like them OP? Are they your style? Will you wear them? Are they worth buying or are you buying them because they are on sale?

pictish · 04/04/2015 23:11

I wouldn't fancy being covered in beads in the hot sun, so I'm not seeing holiday dress.

They're all nice, but I too would look naked. The silver one less so I suppose. The maxi dress is stunning, but the wrong colour for me.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/04/2015 23:14

I don't like them, sorry. They look like Oscars dresses, rather than dresses for 'real' people with 'real' lives.

DaffyDuck88 · 04/04/2015 23:15

I think the colour is stunning & classy but I am very pale, so this would probably add colour.....yes I am that pale. Great for a nice dinner or party I think. I like no.1 best then the maxi.

TheLastThneed · 04/04/2015 23:17

I really like them, but I have weird taste...

Whiteandbrownrabbit · 04/04/2015 23:18

I have med skintone, and long dark hair

I like them, yet I guess would really need to try on
worried I will look mummytummyish

I like no 1 best also, but isn't that out of stock? The maxi looks a bit Mae West but I don't like maxis anyway. I'd have thought they were more dressy cocktail than holiday wear though.
Miss Selfridge did a lot in that style last season - some were more flapper style but still flatteringly clingy iyswim.

Whiteandbrownrabbit · 04/04/2015 23:28

here I like this too with skinny jeans, well not tried it on
but would probably prefer a dress

I agree with others - they don't strike me as 'holiday' dresses.
Very much a 'special occasion party dress' and also very much for some skin tones - I would just look very, very sickly in that kind of colour, but my Jamaican SiL could carry them off. Smile

maz1979 · 04/04/2015 23:42

They are lovely but don't think they would be flattering on lumps and bumps

Superherosidekick · 05/04/2015 08:41

I have a black beaded miss selfridge dress, the beading is not very secure and I was leaving a trail of small beads behind me within a couple of hours wear. The dress looks lovely but I daren't have it cleaned as I think it will lose all the beads and look like a fishing net!
Just beware of the quality. It's not cheap for a one wear dress!

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 05/04/2015 11:22

The op might not have lumps and bumps Maz.

Twinklestein · 05/04/2015 13:04

I really like 1 & 2 & the Monsoon top. Not so keen on the maxi and it's less wearable. My favourite is 2.
