Garnier BB cream not enough anymore.....foundation recommendations please?

I've been using Garnier BB cream for a couple of years, and was always pleased with it, but I find now I'm getting a bit older I need a bit more coverage. My skin is a little bit sensitive, fairly pale, but is also pretty blotchy and a bit grey-looking (yum!) so definitely needs 'something'.....the only problem is I hate the feel of foundations, and don't like the mask-look that some of them give.

So basically, I'm looking for something that will make my skin look wonderful without looking or feeling like I've got any foundation on! I'm asking the impossible, aren't I?!

The bobbi brown skin foundation is worth every penny. I use the stick version with a brush to sheer it out but it comes as a liquid aswell. X

Watching with interest, I hate that feel of foundation too.

I love the new Maybelline one - dream flawless nude, really silky and light, as though it has a primer built in.

I have just been trying a sample of a new Chanel product called C C cream (complete correction cream). It is great, really evens out my complexion but is light in texture and very natural finish . Unfortunately it is £££ so I won't be buying it until I can get it in duty free, however you only need a tiny amount . Worth asking for a sample ? Might be just what you need .

Some great suggestions.....thank you!
(Unfortunately I'm not in the position to splash out on the £££ ones, but it sounds lovely!)

I tried a new bare minerals product called complexion rescue - which is listed as a tinted hydrating gel cream! But it was really good and I have a sample to keep trying, definitely worth a look

Bourjois CC cream. Great coverage, lighter than a foundation. I have pale sensitive skin and have had no problems with it. I use it for everyday coverage. Not ££££££ either.

I've read good comments about both the Bourjois one and the Maybelline one before, so probably be one of those.....pennies are a bit tight at the moment so can't really splash out on a £££ one.

Thank you so much for all you replies Smile

Definitely the Bourjois CC cream. I moved to this from the Garnier BB cream and find it excellent. The coverage is good but not as heavy as a foundation.

There are a lot of serum foundations available at the moment, they're very light and fluid like but pigmented enough to offer decent coverage. Bourjois do one called healthy mix serum gel.
