This dress for a wedding?

I have just brought this dress from River Island in the sale (£15!) and it looks lovely on but can I dress it up for a wedding or is it too casual?

I've got nude dolly shoes

It's navy stripes by the way, not black

think you will need to really dress it up with accessories to pull it Off. In a bright colour.

I like it, but would wear some heels not dolly shoes. Agree, bright accessories needed.

I wonder if it is a bit too casual. I can't find any nice dresses which are the right length as the seem to be quite mini on the high street. With being tall, I don't want to show too much leg at someone's wedding

Well it was a steal at £15 as its the kind of thing I would wear for work or weekend anyway.

I like it but agree it needs heels, otherwise it's too casual. Would look nice with a statement necklace too I think.

With it being navy you could go all matchy with navy accessories or maybe red or even neon yellow. You could make it work but unless you have it all it'll cost you as much as a more weddingy dress.

I do like it though!

Thanks lj8893 and NottheOP.

I would end up spending more on accessories and shoes! Wedding not until May and first time shopping today in ages without a toddler in tow Grin

I may wear it for church tomorrow with my tan ankle boots and tan bag, would that work?

Gorgeous useful dress. Worth having.
Borrow statement jewellery if you don't have it.
