Beauty essentials for short holiday in Ibiza?

Fcukfifa · 04/04/2015 10:21

Im going on my first girls holiday for a weekend in Ibiza in a couple of months and trying to make a list of things to take/what to do in the run up so I can look my best when there.

If it helps, I have a boho/hippy sense of style. Has anyone used the (i think its called) bumble and bumble surf spray? Will it give me tousled hair on a night?

Curious about body brushing too, will doing this before I go make a difference to my skin?

Any hints/tips to look polished and glowing whilst in Ibiza?

Maybe we're all jealous? Easter Wink

I haven't been on holiday in fecking years, but if I was going away I'd want simple make up - BB cream and good mascara, high factor SPF, paint my nails and toes before I went.

In terms of the stuff before, yes yes to body brushing, moisturise every day, get waxed a day or two before so any redness calms down. Maybe dye your eyelashes? Get your eyebrows threaded? I think I'd want all the basics taken care of, so that with said simple make up, I could sort of forget what I look like and just enjoy myself.

Never tried the bumble and bumble stuff, but I'm a -lazy- relaxed soul - put my hair into a bun when damp, take it out a few hours later and I have nice wavy hair with zero effort Easter Grin

Have a lovely holiday

Grin I'd have thought my Ibiza weekend would be a little scummy after reading some the holiday threads on mumsnet Easter Grin

I've bought a cheap revlon foundation from bnm Shock for about £3 that I am planning on mixing with my beloved dermablend foundation and sheering out with an illuminater so give a glowy look. I have mega dry skin.

Defo yes to getting my eyebrows threaded. Wax? Ouch! I'll probably pinch dhs razorBlush

I just think I've forgotten something really useful that I'll need to pack and I'll kick myself when there!

Gel toes and hands! Last ages and perfect for the beach as doesn't chip. Cheap local beauty salons are fine - mine cost £25 for both done and my toes last 6 weeks basically until they grow off.

Wax everything and get some spray moisturiser - Nivea do a nice cocoa buttery one, I can never be faffed with after sun on hols but it's so easy to spray all over after a shower, then maybe a proper lotion too.

High SPF for face and a big sunhat.

And nurofen and rehydration sachets for the hangovers Grin

While you're there - drink as muh water as humanly possible and avoid massive carby lunches, eat that stuff at dinner.
