Sports bra sizing?

I'm a 32G or 32FF in most bras although have lost 4 pounds since measuring and in the process of losing more so my size is likely to change soon.

Anyway, I'm looking at Freya Active sports bras online - does anyone know if they come up big or small? In the past I had a Shock Absorber and M&S sports bras and found the sizing very different from ordinary bras.

Thanks in advance.

I wear it in the same size as my normal Freya bras. It's tight, but it's of course supposed to be, to do its job. With shock absorber, as a comparison, I need to go up at least one back size.

I wear the same size in Freya too but am on the loosest hook whereas in the normal bras I'm on the tightest. I'm a 30FF at the moment and find I can't get on with non underwired sports bras at all. Went to the gym earlier today in one due to a laundry crisis and gave up on running as didn't feel my boobs were sufficiently restrained. As you're a bit bigger than me I definitely recommend you look for underwiring.

Thanks. It's the underwired Freya I was looking at.

I love the Freya underwired sports bra. I utterly loathe with a passion anything made by Shock Absorber. They actually make me cross just thinking about them. I'm on the cusp of a 32E, heading towards a 30F. I wear a 30E in the Freya, but I can't bear any sort of movement in my boobs, so it is possibly tighter than recommended. It closes on the loosest hook (my regular bras are on the tightest).

I bought the Freya underwired this week, I love it. It's really supportive.

I bought my normal size (30) but am doing it up in the tightest hook, however I've got a tiny ribcage covered in a few inches of fat, so that's probably why!

Just came across this when looking for another thread. Vie just bought the Freya Active in bright pink, size 32FF - my normal size. Am thrilled with it, no movement at all when running and can wear without a top over when it gets warm. Tried shock absorber and nike and they were rubbish, not built for boobs at all.

I have tried just about every sports bra out there, and the Freya underwired crop top one is currently my favourite.

Buy it in the same size you'd usually buy a Freya or Panache in - that's probably one back size up from any Shock Absorber you've tried.

I'm a 30E in Freya and Pure Lime, but a 32E in Shock Absorber.
