Paris capsule wardrobe?!

I'm going to Paris with dh, and kids and I need afew easy throw on outfits that work!

What would you pack- we are driving so no issue with space but I awlays over pack so don't wAnt to do that!

I'm youngish, slim, and like Zara, Asos, topshop. I have a wardrobe that's buating open with clothes but I need some inspiration.

I would buy a couple of things if I needed too....
So far I have-
Skinny blue jeans
Light green open weave knitted top worn with grey vans.

White jeans wuth grey converse and black/white striped top and leather jacket.

I have a grey marl tube skirt but i have trouble styling it!

Have you tried your tube skirt with opaques and the biker jacket?

I've got some
Black leather ankle boots but they look a bit too clunky and worky
Black suede shoe boots- the same
black pony skin van style ankle boots- would they work?

No idea re the Vans, sorry. A bit Emo?

They look great with jeans.

I don't wear skirts as I never know what shoes! This is a problem.

I'm not into the Emo look, so best not venture further with the tube skirt there!

Is this any good? Or the book she refers to maybe? Might be too old for you though.

What can I do with it?

Blue jeans, white t shirt, trench coat? Too cliche?

baby I don't mind her blog, but maybe a bit old. She looks fantastic!

Do you have any thinnish layer such as merino jumpers? Gap have had some nice swing-style ones in recently. How are you fixed for dresses? A denim shirtdress looks good under a trench or a biker. The lovely thing about dresses is that you just put one thing on and you're practically done! Also, so you have any nice oversized silk shirts or the like?

For a casual capsule weekend, I'd pack:

a pair of ankle boots and a pair of Converse (or your Vans sound good)

a couple of pairs of jeans (maybe lighter ones or grey, plus some darker 'smarter' jeans')

Tee shirts/cardis/scarves in complimentary shades

2 jackets - a waterproof casual one and a nicer one for evenings (maybe a trench or nice biker)

A couple of 'going out' tops to wear with smarter jeans or one dress and tights to go with the ankle boots if youre going anywhere nice for dinner

Keep the colours all complimentary. I'm a 'winter' colouring person, so would go for white/grey/electric blue/navy blue.

No thin sweaters and this is a real lack in my wardrobe! I might go ordering online.

I have then scarf wise- is that naff now? Black cashmere scarf. Some chunky necklaces

Am lacking ankle boots----tan suede?
