Mid heel shoes

I just can't do really high heels anymore but any of the mid heels I see are so frumpy and just meh. Anyone found any really nice, comfortable, black mid heels? Don't mind too much what kind of heel except definitely not a block heel. Or is it impossible?!

I have a black pair and a caramel coloured pair, both from Jones the Bootmaker, that I use for days when the full high heel just won't work.

I've got some like these M&S ones, and they are v comfortable. Maybe too high though?

Love those Remus but just too high for me to wear all day. Sad. Budget is only about £50 so not very much.

Another vote for Clarks. I have these which are so comfortable I can stand up in them all day and look really smart. Look much nicer in real life than on the website. Have had for over a year and no visible wear (reheeled once). A real bargain at £40.

They're not mid-heel, no, but are surprisingly wearable. I'm pretty crap in heels but can manage all day at work in those (teacher, so on feet a lot too!).

My phone went silly and wouldn't open the link Remus...we obviously both have great taste! Quangle those Clarks heels have have magic properties. I'm also in education, on my feet all day and they honestly are brilliant.
