Can I just ask why would a crawling baby need these... Surely they don't crawl outside or am I missing something ?

fiorentina · 01/04/2015 19:05

JoJo sell them too. We found them useful at the park where our daughter wanted to toddle or stand up but wasn't ready for wellies.

BikeRunSki · 01/04/2015 21:05

My babies used to crawl outside.

ftmsoon · 01/04/2015 21:20

My baby crawls outside, she needs them for her knees!!

Minshu · 01/04/2015 22:31

I wish I'd known about these when DD was small. Of course babies crawl outside! Mine never learned the art of levitation... Grin

Thank you! Can you link to the jojo ones please? I've looked but can't find and the others aren't available in the size i need..

or these?

PiratePanda · 02/04/2015 08:50

Non-walking babies should not wear shoes with hard soles, and the idea that a baby might need a wellie type option us weird. Normal crawler shoes from Clarks. Let's face it, what they really need are waterproof overalls that y can hose the mud off!

Laquila · 02/04/2015 13:20

When my son was crawling and enthusiastically pulling up, standing in puddles and starting to toddle and climb, I wanted something that does the job of wellies but wasn't so rigid. I looked into it and thought Baby Bogs looked like a good option - I never got round to buying them but they're well reviewed.

heymammy · 02/04/2015 13:25

All my dc crawled outside as babies, they're not made of icing sugar Wink, if the ground was damp they wore waterproof trousers and soft waterproof bootees.

Kittykatmacbill · 02/04/2015 15:45

We had some of those down booty things for dd1 but tbh it was easier to put her in her splash suit that wrapped over her hands and feet.

It was this splash suit -www.littletrekkers.co.uk/shop/index.php/flypage/20831/b1bf32e7bb484066926151ba8f9f72de/description/4379
totally brilliant and utterly worth it if you live somewhere cold and wet!

GoogleyEyes · 02/04/2015 17:13

You need Stonz - brilliant things. Waterproof, indestructible and toddler-fiddling-proof.
