I've just bought a Clinique one that doesn't need sharpening & it disappears under my eye after a few hours. I don't have oily eyes or put eye cream close to my eyelashes. I tried a Bobbie Brown one too & that didn't last. I don't mind a cheap or expensive brand just one that doesn't budge.

Revlon colorstay

Don't bother with EsteeLauder Double Wear one....it was all over the place, on me! I took it back.

Can second the Bourgeois felt tip one. Very good staying power.

Lynne2015 · 31/03/2015 16:02

I use Avon renew - it lasts and lasts, its a pencil but is so soft.

Dont bother with Urban decay 24/7 glide on, dont last

also the felt tip style pen bleeds on my eyes

I switched from Clinique recently to MAC and love this one. Have it in green and brown and it honestly doesn't smudge, or give lines in the eye socket crease above the eye and it stays on all day.

Rimmel Scandel Eyes. The stuff never shifts! It is quite a thick Pencil liner, soft and easy to apply. Washes off easily enough at the end of the day.

I've tried Scandal Eyes and it didn't work for me.

Was very excited about the Bourgeois and nipped to the shops this morning and bought the Liner Feutre in Noir (felt tip style). It says 'very long-lasting' on it. I'd worn it about 10 mins when my friend told me to go look in the mirror. I looked like I'd been in tears! the damn stuff was literally heading down my cheeks. It is by far the worst I've ever tried. Which just goes to show that what does the trick for one person, is hopeless on another. Op I feel your pain!

I use smashbox gel liners which take a long time to shift on me. (Clinique gel liners are hopeless. Haven't tried any others.) Urban decay 24/7 pencils are variable, some better than others, but the gel liners are better. I also use a very ordinary kohl from Chanel which makes no claims to be long-lasting but is easily the best I've ever tried for tightlining - lasts all day - but I've got the black and from reading reviews I think the brown might not be so good.

Kittykat7 · 02/04/2015 13:10

I will have a look at the Mac one thanks. It's for the lower lashes only that I want. I was reading good reviews for the Pro wear liner so I'm not sure which one I go for now.

I swear by semi-permanent makeup. Was sick of eyeliner smudging half way down my face (greasy skin) so took the plunge. Fantastic (but expensive). Had it done for a big birthday. Lasts 3-5 yrs. Saves precious time in the morning!!

I like No7 from Boots and they frequently do £3 off vouchers
