Gray yay or nay?

I keep seeing photos on Buzzfeed, Pinterest and Instagram about "granny hair" being in style. Would I be mad to dye my hair grey when it hasn't started greying naturally?
Maybe grey balayage would be softer? Quick someone talk me out of this as I get paid on Tuesday!

you are living up to your name

OMG. You'll be long enough with grey hair. Enjoy your colour while you've got it.

I'm not sure I will. I'm 46 now and my nana never went grey. My mum is 64 and only has a few strands of grey. I might wait forever to be a silver fox!

I think it works on 20 yr olds 'making a statement' (tho God knows what that statement is) but on someone who might be grey naturally it will just look odd... fake grey is very different to natural grey!

What burnished said.

I found my first grey hairs before I turned 30. Youth is waay too short for this nonsense. Even if you're 20!
