What other brands come up a bit wider?

Vans are wider. My sister finds converse too narrow so wears the lace up style of Vans.

MrsPnut · 29/03/2015 20:52

I have some superga, converse make my feet look massive.

Hobbes8 · 29/03/2015 20:53

Superga are wider I think. Or you can get converse lookalikes in new look for about a tenner.

Jungfraujoch · 29/03/2015 21:23

Great thanks I'll check out Vans and Superga then!!

Vans, and, oddly, the Dunlop ones they always have loads of in Sports Direct. They come in half-sizes, too.

KissyBoo · 29/03/2015 23:46

Not a brand as such but New Look ones are excellent. I find Converse too narrow too.

CointreauVersial · 30/03/2015 00:17

Superga!

Sooo much more comfortable than Converse for the wider-footed.

BinarySolo · 30/03/2015 07:03

Rocket dog are wider. My friend has the same problem.

ChocolateEggFace · 30/03/2015 07:21

I would also say Superga, but I would say try them on as the sizing is different to converse.

FairyPenguin · 30/03/2015 07:22

TBS trainers. You can get them in Shoon. Love them!

iwantgin · 30/03/2015 08:53

Superga.

I am a 6.5/7 - and order a 7 (41) from Superga

I find them v comfortable - have a slightly wider foot than average. They have more support inside the arch - not totally flat.

DS has a few pairs - in fact they are what he wears most days.

Frequently sales online. I don't think I have ever paid full price.

iwantgin · 30/03/2015 08:54

Rocket Dogs wer also a little wider- very comfy, but they didn't last long. The fabric and rubber trim parted company within the course of the summer. So, I don't rate them on quality.

BinarySolo · 30/03/2015 14:04

Keen are supposed to be very good too. More expensive tho.

Liveinthepresent · 30/03/2015 16:25

I have just ordered some converse after a thread complaining supergas were too wide - they looked great and I am a bit gutted i can't keep them!

TheWildRumpyPumpus · 30/03/2015 16:29

Victoria Plimsolls are good too.

cardoon · 30/03/2015 16:37

Are Vans true to size?

Deedeejanuary · 30/03/2015 17:24

New Balance Grin

BikeRunSki · 30/03/2015 17:28

If you're a biggish size, try the men's size Converse.

Chillycamper · 30/03/2015 18:12

White stuff lace ups fine on my hobbit feet

AlternativeTentacles · 30/03/2015 18:16

I bought some crocs sneakers when I was abroad and they are still the most comfiest shoes ever. Wider than converse but look just the same.

lolalotta · 30/03/2015 18:19

Am watching! I have wide feet, I find TBS 41 too short and I'm a 7/8... Good width though.

SASASI · 30/03/2015 18:50

I Second new look trainers - only things that fit since pregnancy 8 months later!
Off to check out superga :)

cardoon · 30/03/2015 21:09

Can anyone help with Vans sizing - if I'm a UK 4 should I order a 4 or a 37 which ,according to their size chart, are different sizes Confused

Silverstreaks · 30/03/2015 22:43

Rocket Dog Jazzin, lovely and comfy with a rounded toe box.
