Joules sizing for kids clothes?

How do you find the sizing for kids clothes? Got my eye on something for DD but she's a little petite thing and worried it will swamp her. She's 5 1/2 and just moving into age 4-5 clothes but more for length than anything else. (Although she had on an 18-24 month skirt the other day and it fit perfectly).

Do they have adjustable waistbands on their clothes?

Thanks.

I've not bought skirts there, but I've found their clothes to come up on the small side, compared say to boden. Just had to re order a sweatshirt for skinny as a rake Ds (7) in aged 9-10. Dd (who is the smallest in her reception class) has an aged 4-5 top and its snug. Might be worth ordering a couple of sizes to choose from.

The fit is quite narrow in the boys range. And a bit short too. Smaller than, for example, boden. And much smaller than m and s.

DD is 5 years and small for her age. She wears 3-4 clothes from most high-street places. Joules age 5 is too big for her (tops are too long on the body / sleeves).

I'm surprised - I thought they would be quite big made.

It's something on eBay - age 5 so can't order a few sizes to try. Not sure if I should risk it or not.

On the small side , DD is quite tall and gave to size up .

Smaller than should be. Would size up.

I think I will go for it. As I said she's only just into age 4-5 and that has growing room. I think the joules dress will fit her but might not have as much growing room. I can always put it back on eBay if it's too small.

Thanks everyone.
