Boots Curl Creme - what do I do?

Bowing to the wisdom of fellow wavy/curly hair owners.

I have a natural wave to my hair and it has been known to err on the side of curly and after seeing this product mentioned I thought I would try it and see how it works on my hair.

What are your top tips for using it and what should I not do.

TIA

I put a small dap in my palm and rub my hands together till it goes white and sticky and then run my hands through wet hair. I then dry it as normal (diffuser). I really like it. I also occasionally use it on dry hair if I'm having a frizzy hair day.

Hello fellow curly headed one! I would wash and condition hair, preferably with a non-sulphate shampoo, and either use a wide toothed comb or your fingers, not a comb or brush. Then wrap your hair in an old tshirt...sounds weird but it really helps to de frizz my hair, as opposed to using a towel. While your hair is still damp, run some of the curl product through your hair from the ends, not quite to the root. Tip head uoside down and scrunch it gently with your fingers, squeezing the hair, not ruffling or rubbing it. You can use a diffuser too, on a low heat, slow speed setting. You can always add in more product as you go, in case you need more definition in certain areas. Have fun!

I do most of what itsveryyou just said, except I put gel through the ends of my hair before plopping into the microfiber towel.

I then diffuse until it's almost dry before using the curl cream. You only need enough to coat your finger, rub til it's white, distribute through and finish drying.

I also use it on dry hair, e.g. to help my curls out on day 2.

I find it makes my curls go limp after a while if I use it alone so I use Lee Stafford Here Come the Curls spray first on damp hair. I then scrunch and diffuse dry till it looks like a massive frizz ball! Then I use the Boots cream like others have mentioned, to smooth and scrunch the curls into shape.

Wet your hair
Rub a blob of curl Creme on your hands
Run hands through hair, sort of "finger combing"

I mostly co-wash, then when soaking wet scrunch/lightly run some body shop coconut hair shine through my hair followed by a scoop of curl creme which i rub in my palms first then scrunch in and plop in a pair of old cotton pyjama bottoms. I mostly diffuse about an hour later

Jeez, apparently I like the word mostly
