Denim jacket, only not denim...

I want a casual jacket, in a slightly cropped style.
I want something very casual and wear a lot of bohemian, 70s things.
A denim jacket would be great, but I want to wear with jeans and avoid the double-denim. Anyone seen a twill/canvas/something else entirely one?

I have a lovely Levis dark blue suede "denim" jacket. Not current season though. ..

Gap have a jersey biker style jacket for £40. It comes in grey or denim ( but isn't denim).

Or I could just get a denim jacket... would a black one be enough to avoid the double denim look??

I have a black canvas one, and a thin navy linen one, both bought a few years ago from H & M.

Magic - I fell in love with the grey when i saw it in store, but the arms were too long. The petite is sold out in my size.

Hmm. I wonder if I could get away with a tall... I don't mind rolling sleeves up!
