Having been inspired by the whole bra intervention movement, I recently measured myself using the 'bend forward at 90 degrees' method and I think I should be a 34G on that basis, with measurements of 34" and 44"
respectively.
Emboldened, I bought some really pretty bras in this size from Bravissimo, which have arrived. They seem to fit nicely around the back, but I think the tops of the cups are a little gapey. Is this possibly due to loss of natural volume (ahem) after breastfeeding 3 kids and just getting older (am 41)? Or does it likely mean the cup size is too big? Or even the band size? I can't quite imagine going down a whole inch in cup size to a FF, but don't want to gape. Slightly complicated by the fact that my boobs are not quite the same size, but not a whole cup size difference.
Any views would be appreciated! The nearest Bravissimo shop is not that near, and although I might be able to get there one day, I don't think it's imminent.
